I bought this tea pot several years ago, got it for $6 in the Gold Box special. This tea pot has worked perfectly for years. I just moved and my tea pot fell out of my car and broke. It was one of the things I wanted in my cabin while waiting for my furniture to arrive. I bought 2 different ones recently and they are terrible. I'm so happy I found this tea pot, I'm ordering it again.Customer Review: All that you'ld want and a great price!

Fine design. The bottom of this tea kettle is wider than I expected and therefore fits my gas burner perfectly. I can have the flame on high without the flame creeping up the sides of tea kettle. It heats quickly, whistles loudly, and empties any water completely without worry of the top falling off. Best of all....even with the flame all the way up, the handle STAYS COOL!Customer Review: Whistle Pops Off Kettle

This tea kettle is nice looking and the perfect size for me, plus the price was good, but when I go to pour water after the kettle starts whistling, about half the time the whistle and spring mechanism fly off the kettle when I push down on the lever. It happened the first time I used it! If that didn't happen, I would give the tea kettle at least 4 stars instead of 2.Customer Review: I use it daily and just love it!

Time is always at a premium at my house and this kettle boils water for a pot of tea in no time on my radiant cooktop. It is easy to keep clean and I sometimes leave the whistle part open when the house needs to be quiet to allow for others to sleep. It is attractive enough to keep out and easy to keep clean even with hard water. I couldn't be happier with a product.Customer Review: Spout doesn't sing

I read great reviews about this kettle and so thought it would be a good buy. However it's never been very easy to get this kettle to make a sound. The spout cover doesn't seem to press down enough on the spout to seal it and thus create a whistle.
Other than that it's an fine kettle, but I always forget I've put water on so I need that whistle working.
