It warms. But, it missed an important feature -- it does not have power adjustor, with which people can select the rigth power depending on the temperature. Thus, it can't be used during sleep time when people can't adjust its power manually.

Safety check system provides a continuous self-check: turn heater on and it runs a diagnostic check of all safety features. Panel indicates if a problem is detected and refers user to an on-product safety legend for corrective instructions. Safety features include auto shut-off, tip-over protection, backup fuse and the contact sensor. SafetyMax contact infrared sensor shuts off heater if anything gets within 1/2" of the grille; automatically resets when obstruction is removed. Single speed, 1,500 watts. Cool Touch plastic housing. 9.45w x 9.71d x 13.39h.
