The Fagor Egg Poacher is all that I was looking for and I haved used the steamer also and find it to be an excellent addition to the pan. The pan seems to be of good quality and works well. I would recommend it to my friends.

Either nested together or used individually, the four versatile pieces in this set sauté, steam, and poach. This Spanish vendor has crafted the set with beautiful European design sensibilities while still creating functional cookware. The main component of the set is an 8-1/2-inch sauté pan with high 2-1/4-inch sides that, on its own, browns a pair of chicken breasts or sautés a pound of shrimp. A steamer with 3-1/2-inch sides fits within the bottom of the pan for steaming asparagus, carrots, or other vegetables. As an alternative, an egg poacher insert with four egg cups fits into the sauté pan to produce perfectly shaped poached eggs for Eggs Benedict. The removable egg cups have easy-to-grip handles to lift them out of the insert and a nonstick coating for gently sliding poached eggs right on top of each bacon-covered English muffin. Other than the egg cups, all cookware is made of gleaming 18/10 stainless steel and the sauté pan has an encapsulated aluminum base for even heat distribution. The saute pan and steamer also have hollow handles that remain cool on the stovetop and are securely riveted to their sides. A tempered glass lid provides an overhead view of the pan's contents.
