My husband purchased this particular percolator stating "It has good reviews"; but now I see it really only had 1 five-star review. We're convinced percolator coffee tastes better than drip; but the search for a suitable percolator is back on. We've had this version for 6 months, and it's not making hot, strong coffee anymore. We've been careful to keep the electrical section free of water...not sure what's happened(?); but not going w/Farberware again as 6 months is not a long enough investment time. Will probably opt for a stovetop product to avoid the potential of electrical issues again.
