Much better than Wood!
Won't warp, split or splinter. Could be very slightly larger, but big peels are hard to find (unless they're metal). Works really well with the Artisan breads; we just like to do two small loaves at once. But, for larger breads and single loaves, it's perfect. Cutting board from Epi is my next purchase.

I had nothing but trouble getting my dough off the cooie sheet,plate or what ever I was using to let it rise. I finally broke down and bought this pizza peel. I first went to Williams Sonoma, they carried the same one except more expensive. You won't be disappointed!Customer Review: quality product!

This is a good quality made in the USA product, worth the extra dollars for investment. My only problem was that I overestimated the size that I would need and this one is a little larger than what I should have bought. Great materials, easy clean and lightweight!
