This is a lovely substantial item. The sugar bowl is ample and the colors are great. The green is deep, rich and gleaming and the interior is a rustic creamy off white. The cover fits nicely with a slot for the spoon. This piece has a look of traditon and class. This is the first Emile Henry piece that I purchased,and as I am very pleased...I will definitely look for more to create a complete set of dining and bakeware.

Ideal for kitchen or dining table, this covered bowl stores and serves 8 ounces of sugar and has a slot in its lid for a spoon. The bowl measures 4-1/4 inches in diameter and 4 inches high and is microwave- and dishwasher-safe. Since 1850, Emile Henry cookware and bakeware have been made in Burgundy, where a unique clay is kiln-fired into a ceramic unsurpassed for conducting and retaining heat. Prized worldwide, Emile Henry products come in a wide range of colors, from the bright hues of the Couleurs line (with white interiors) to the earth tones (with creamy interiors) of the rustic Le Potier line, of which this sugar bowl is a glowing example.
