This pizza stone is a delight. It's beautiful, you can cut on it, and it stays hot for a long, long time. I use it both for baking bread directly, and for pizza. Pizza will stay hot when it's served on it for quite a while, and it delivers a beautiful crust for both bread and pizza. It's also a beautiful serving platter. It will supposedly work on the grill up to 500 degrees, and I plan to try that when it gets warmer. I had researched several other stones, and was about to buy tiles to keep in the oven, when I found this. It's much more versatile. I'm wanting another one actually, in red-mine is "fig," which is a lovely color. But a second one would be great!
