We don't have this microwave but Emerson doesn't make the one I just threw out anymore. I've had that microwave for almost 20 years with only a couple of complaints. 1) I always wished it was bigger inside. The new microwaves are now. Yeah! 2) Towards this microwaves dying days it got pretty noisy. IT WAS 20 YEARS OLD! When I bought this microwave I wasn't happy that it was an Emerson. I'd heard so many bad thibgs about them. But I was broke and got what I could afford. This microwave never gave me a lick of problems. And just 3 months ago I started having problems with the push button door opener not working as well. It still opened the door, you just had to push a little harder than usual. I think my microwave was only about 700 watts so I had to cook some things for a minute longer or so to get foods cooked all of the way through. But I could wait a minute. Today I bought a new Emerson Microwave/Grill/Bake from Wal-Mart for $84.00. It looks like the one above somewhat but not exactly. 1 member said the manual didn't explain how to grill for their microwave. Mine does. I hope it lasts as long as my last Emerson. Mine's 1100 watts.... WOW! I dont know what I'll do with all of that wattage. LOL. And it's big inside. I can get my bigger mixing bowl in it. Just great! I cant wait to try the grilling feature on it. I just cant picture a microwave grilling and keeping the meat tender. Should be interesting. My old microwave was great for my chicken mushroom recipe. I cant wait to start experiencing with my new Emerson.
