Customer Review: loved it...but it failed after 6 months

First let me say...Amazon took very good care of me in this story.
I really liked the product. The floating hinge, removable plates (for cleaning) and latch to keep it closed were all hard to find in other products. I loved the unit...but it stopped working after 6 months. All the manufacturer (Sensio) would do was give me 5/12 of the purchase price (since i had it for 6 months plus a few days and it had a 1 yr warranty). I called Amazon and said that I really did not expect this to be completely completely useless after 12 months.
Amazon sent me a replacement free of charge...even thought they did not have to. Very nice.
I'm cooking again with Unit #2.
