Glad I took a shot on this is scale. The quality seems to be very good. It has a large base and is very very steady on my counter. The bowl is large enough for most baking tasks that I have done so far, and I have no problem with the readings as the display is quite large. I even took the bowl off and weighed a package I was sending to my son.
If I had one minor complaint it would be that there was some minor assembly, but it took only minutes. Great value vs. other scales I have seen in the stores.
