This EatSmart Precision Pro scale is great.
1) It does not take up much room
2) It is easy to read
3) It is easy to clean
4) It is accurate
5) It measures in various units (including grams)
I am on a stringent diet and needed an accurate scale. When I purchased this, I found out I had not been eating enough protein! So it helped me with my diet immensely.
I called on my bathroom scale that I bought from this company. They called me back and explained how to calibrate the scale. They have great customer service which is very important to me. That was the reason I purchased the scale and it is one of the main reasons that I can wholeheartedly recommend it to others.... which I do, frequently!

The scale works well. It's simple and easy to change the mode (grams, ounces, etc). It's just got two buttons, so it's a streamlined product. It's also small and doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter.
My favorite part of the product, and why it gets the full 5 stars, is because of the little book that came with. The book has calorie equivalents for all kinds of foods! You basically weigh the foods in grams, use the multiplier in the book, and get a rough idea of how many calories are in the food. It's a great help in planning responsible meals, and I even look through for low multipliers to get new idea of what to use in my cooking.
Now, if only the scale could actually force me to only eat on plan ;-)

I am very happy with this product. I use it daily and it has helped me better learn portion size and calorie control
I like that you can switch between pounds, grams, kg and ounces. The ability to zero out the container is very useful and time saving.
The automatic shut off after 3 minutes will conserve battery life.
The only negative I can think of is that a medium to large plate blocks the readout ( but that's not a huge deal for me, just a minor inconvenience). The weighing platform could have been set a bit higher than the base to avoid this
I would recommend this product to anyone... it is inexpensive, user friendly and accurate... what else could you ask for?

I used this scale for a couple of weeks before writing my review. It is handy for measuring serving sizes while trying to watch my weight. I bought two large buckets of blueberries and it was perfect for weighing out my freezer bags before freezing. I buy cheese in bulk and after cutting in chunks I weigh and write the ounces on package. I love the zeroing out of the container weight. I had a primitive one with none of these features that are on this model. Also I have vision problems so love the large numbers. When I had a plate that overlapped I got out my magnifying glass so I could read under the plate but other than that one instance no problem. Would make a great gift even for a senior like me!!Customer Review: Easy scale to use.

Recently ordered the EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale and am very pleased with the product. Not only did I receive it quick and hassle free, but the bonus, I didn't have to leave my house to search for it. My grandson and I made our family recipe for a cardamon cinnamon bread he was going to provide as a sample for his Heritage Night project at school. We needed to divide the dough for the bread into 5 equal parts and weighing the dough helped us alot. This was the first time I had used the scale having only received it days before. My grandson is 13 and operated the scale easily. We had 5 equal sized loaves of delicious bread. The scale is easily operated and easy to read.
