I've had this scale for about a month now and love it. I purchased it to assist in my weight loss goals. I use this scale to weigh all sorts of things to get precise measurements for calorie counting, ex. bagels, cream cheese, fruits, vegetables, etc. You name it and I have used it for measurements. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. The unit is very easy to clean and very lightweight, which makes it nice to put away...not bulky. As it turns out my husband has it enjoyed it to weigh his gold jewelry.Customer Review: Didn't last long

I have had this scale for three months. It worked well, although it was a bit annoying to turn it off because it required that I press the tare button several times before it would turn off. However after only 3 1/2 months of normal use it just stopped working. While weighing an item it started to display gibberish numbers without units of measurement. I replaced the batteries and that did not fix the problem. I have since returned it to Amazon.com who is very graciously offering a refund. Thank you Amazon.com.Customer Review: Great household scale

So far I love this product. It is very accurate and I use it for everything. Not much to say about this except it does what it says. If you are someone watching what they eat this is a great tool to have around the house to help you accurately weigh your food so you know how many calories you are eating. I like that you can choose color, cuz now it can sit on the counter and not take up too much space and still have a nice look to match my other appliances. I purchased the EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale based upon all the favorable reviews but in hind sight I feel I made a bad choice. The buttons on the scale don't always work so I find myself pressing them multiple times to get the functions I'm looking for. To describe it I would have to say the buttons feel cheap. Sure the scale looks great in the kitchen but compared to my other electronic kitchen scale this one doesn't feel very sturdy, kind of like a cheap plastic toy.Customer Review: Awesome

I have never had a kitchen scale before, but I'm really enjoying the experience. The EatSmart model can be easily switched between grams, lbs, and ounces. The "tare" mode is also cool for getting the weight of liquids or other items where you might want to figure out the food weight without including the container or packaging.
The only downside (very minor) is that the chrome finish is easily smudged. I feel obligated to give it a good wiping after every use!
