I purchased this vacuum brand new about 1 year ago. It is the worst vacuum I have ever used. It does not pick up anything! It leaves pet hair behind, and blows dust bunnies around. I also use the pet odor refresher powder on my area rugs when I vacuum, assuming that this vacuum would work because it is called "pet lover". It simply sucks up the powder and then spits it all out when I reverse the direction of the vacuum. I recommend looking into a different brand or model if you are considering buying this vacuum and want one that works well!
