I purchased this memory foam foundation to go with an 8inch memory foam mattress purchased separately from walmart.com (only because amazon didnt sell anything similar for the price). This foundation was delivered in less than a week, arrived in a big long box which was somewhat heavy but manageable. I put it together by myself in about 10 minutes. The pins are a little tricky to get in the corners so I had to get 2 in which went in easily, then stand it on its end to get the other 2 through. Totally easy though, didnt need any other tools and hardly any muscle to get it together. My mattress hasnt arrived yet so I havent tried it out yet, but its on my bed frame perfectly level and even and I have no doubt it will do the job. The only thing is that the wooden support beams are pretty rough...not sanded down nicely at all. But they will still do the job and they fit where they needed to be perfectly.
