Our company got a new and expensive Cappucino and Coffee maker. It came with a tiny bottle of Durgol. Naturally, when the machine indicated it was time to de-scale I used the Durgol. The product worked great. It has no real odor, is easy to use, cleans and decalcyfies readily, and has kept our expensive Delonghi machine working great. I use the Durgol about once a month and it cleans thoroughly and rinses clean easily.Customer Review: My Silvia Likes It

I have owned a Rancilio Silvia for a number of years and I use it every day to make lattes. I probably don't decalcify it as often as I should but I have never gotten any "gunk" out of it when I do so I guess my water isn't too full of minerals. That being said, I believe the Durgol product is maintaining my machine's peak performance with regular use and my Silvia works just like the day I got it. There's not much to say - if you own an espresso machine, you need this. Every time the machine boils water, any minerals fall out of solution - the harder your water the more minerals - resulting in sluggish performance as the heating element now has to heat through "stone". Used regularly, your machine will run as good as new, without the horrible smell and aftertastes of other decalcifiers, such as vinegar.Customer Review: Easy Decalcifier

This product is good for any calcium-clogged, small diameter tube, as in a espresso maker....my coffee maker was so clogged that I thought I'd be in for a very expensive repair. After using this product, my coffee maker is working like it never has. The only problem with the product is that it is slightly caustic and one needs to run lots of water through the system to get the taste out of it.Customer Review: Great decalcifier!

I love my home espresso machine! Every morning I make myself a mocha and ease into the day. Keeping my machine clean with the Durgol decalcifier has been easy and effective. Best of all, my mochas taste just the same after cleaning. My espresso maker is now two years old and still happily cranking out delicious mochas with cleanings every two or three months.
