Been using Durgol for ~11 years on Gaggia espresso/coffee makers. I live in medium calcium area so I run cleaning every 4 months -OR- about every 2000 brew shots. I filter the discharge using a white drip coffee filter over measuring cup to show what crude cycles out of the machine. The Discharge can then be used to run a 2cd/3rd time thru the machine if not too cloudy. Yeah its not cheap but has extended the machines from their 1 yr warranty out 5+ years. I have used many products to clean countless coffee makers over the years. And nothing has ever worked as well as this product. Our coffee maker had old built up stains in the carafe never removed by other products. The first time I used Durgold they were gone. I ran this cleaner through my drip coffee machine and the coffee tastes better... product is good.
The bottle asks you to use 1 or 2 cups of cleaner per cleaning; I ran it through with 1 cup for a 12 cup drip machine and it cleaned it well.
I think you have 6 cups of cleaner in one bottle.

Much like the espresso machine decalcifier, this product works great on my Mr. Coffee coffee machine. I've tried some of the powder decalcifiers and I'm never happy with having some of the powder wind up undissolved in the reservoir. This is already a liquid so there is no worry there.Customer Review: didn't help steam iron

I have a Sunbeam steam iron that is not steaming properly. I had tried vinegar without avail, then read that this product would help. It did no good. Perhaps this product is not intended to help with steam irons but only with coffee pots, etc. Or perhaps I used it incorrectly.
