I purchased this nutcracker for my brother who lives in Tennessee and has three pecan trees on his property. He has been using the old standard pinch type nutcracker that you hold in one hand. He loves his new Duke 0100 nutcracker as I knew he would. I have one that is over 25 years old and I still use it frequently. These things will last a lifetime.
