I own a large cast iron skillet and a cast iron grill pan which both get very hot during normal use. This spatula works well with high heat without any discoloration or warping. It cleans up nicely by hand or in the dishwasher. If you do any serious amount of cooking I'd avoid those shoddy plastic spatula toys and get a real metal spatula like this one.
