Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Deviled Egg Tray

Customer Review: bulk purchasing denied so only expect the one you see
Summary: 3 Stars

I liked this tray when I first saw it and I tried to buy several others, but apparently my order was not able to be processed. Several times I called and called yet nobody picked up the phone at the deviled egg plant. I then tried the paprika factory, where a man informed me that this operation was totally separate to the making of the plastic trays, which I find to be a bit beguiling, considering the trays are made specifically for deviled eggs, AND that paprika is the key ingredient(ask anybody). As for the trays they are great, can be used as frisbees or sleds in the winter for your pets. Do not try to use them in the stove, or to make plastic casts of anything. And, do not try to order one thousand of them at a time. You can only buy five every half an hour, this will take you a long time if you go through them like I do. Cheers.

Customer Review: Very disappointed
Summary: 2 Stars

Ordered two of these trays and got them in today. I searched everywhere for trays that hold 24 eggs and then I finally found this one! Imagine my disappointment when I opened the box and guess what? There are only 15 slots for eggs. Now maybe they use a different counting system than I do...I'm not sure. Even if I cram eggs in the center where garnish or dip is supposed to go, there is no way you can cram 9 eggs in that small area. And to add insult to injury, the lid has one of those great big stickers in the middle that is attached with super glue (you know, the kind that no matter what you try, you always have that gluey, sticky residue on it, and if you scrub it off, you have scratches all over the plastic.) I definitely would not waste my money on this.

Customer Review: Great Little Tray
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a great little tray. It is plastic but pretty rugged. I have used mine many times with no mishaps. The lid makes it so easy to transport your deviled eggs without smashing or spilling them. However, this price is high. I got the exact same tray at Family Dollar for $2 bucks. You can also order them in sets of two from HarrietCarter.com for around $5.00 per set. I liked mine so much, I bought another. I highly recommend this item.

Customer Review: Works well, smaller than advertised.
Summary: 4 Stars

The container works fine. My only real complaint was the description. It says "holds 24 eggs...fill up the center with more eggs or garnishes". One would assume that meant that there were 24 slots for eggs plus the center. Instead there are only 15 slots and you have to cram the rest in the center. I chose this one over others because what I thought was additional capacity, that wasn't true.

Customer Review: "rotten egg tray
Summary: 1 Stars

I should have realized the quality of the product by its cost. Plastic is not what I wanted, therefore it did not meet my expectations. Perhaps a better discription of the tray would have prevented my purchase of it.
