This is a masterpiece. We love both this 11 inch and the 9.4 in Fry Pan. After our initial experience with the 9.4 pan. We decided to purchase this 11 inch and it's a great cooking surface. Totally love it. We also have an All Clad but it is a huge difference between the Demeyere and the All Clad. Demeyere is the obvious winner. We've seen All Clad after a few use and the finishes has faded loosing it's nice shinny appeal compared to the Demeyere. Of course, the Demeyere Sirocco cooks marvelously needless to say. If you can put out just a few more bucks, you will truly appreciate the Demeyere Sirocco set. We love the Sirocco line because of it's beautiful modern design and details and this set will definitely last a lifetime.
Description of Demeyere Sirocco 11-Inch Fry pan
Located in Herentals near Antwerp in the heart of Belgium and founded in 1908, Demeyere has specialized in the production of high quality, state of the art, top-end stainless steel cookware in a wide variety of products and range. The only producer to make cookware specifically to suit different cooking methods, each technological requirement is quite different for boiling, frying, stirring and slow cooking. Using the Inductoseal technology on straight sided casseroles, saucepans, stockpots and sauté pans, it has a combination of stainless steel and a 2mm copper core layers hermetically sealed providing 30% more heat conduction. Conical saucepans, sauteuses, woks and fry pans have a 7 Ply material made up of stainless steel, pure aluminum and aluminum alloys that are distributed up to the rim ensuring the best heat distribution. To achieve the best results for all types of cooking there is no such thing as one unique technology to be applied.
