Customer Review: Surprise, but I like it better

I expected a 3.2 quart saucepan, but I got the double handled casserole instead. I actually like it better, it takes up less room in the drawer and nests beautifully with the 2.3 quart pot. Now my demeyere "collection" is complete at two pots and a controlled induction skillet. Works perfectly on the induction side of my Viking glass top range. I really like the induction cooking. Very quick to heat and no sticking on the cooktop, since the induction part of the top itself never gets "hot". The pot itself is a thing of beauty, almost an art piece, but it is heavy. The lid is well formed and fits perfectly. The cookware itself is not as heavy as cast iron cookware but it is substantial. Very high quality, but for the priced it should be! I would recommend this cookware to anyone who has an induction cooktop. Well worth getting in my view.
