I bought this for my wife and with first use the blade popped off and flew across the room. With the second attempt it worked fine. It peeled 3 potatoes before the blade dulled and kept popping off...We tried a second blade that was provided and had the same issue. Worthless junk. I HAD MY LEFT ARM AMPUTATED DEC OF 2008 BECAUSE OF CANCER. I LOVE TO COOK BUT COULDN'T PEEL POTATOES FOR DIFFERENT DISHES. I ORDERED THE ROTATO PEELER TO SEE IF THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED. I HAVE USED IT SEVERAL TIMES TO THIS POINT POINT AND THIS HAS BEEN A DREAM COME TRUE. ALL MY POTATOE PEELING PROBLEMS HAS COME TO AN END.Customer Review: Great Gadget

What a great kitchen gadget. I hate peeling things and this makes it fun and fast. I have had no problems at all so far although it does not get heavy use.
I use it to make string potatoes too. Just keep running the potato on it and drop the resulting string of potato into the frier for a couple of minutes.
Very glad I bought it.

I gave the electric Rotato to my grandparents as a gift and they love it. It's very easy to use and it works really well. My grandfather peeled 10 lbs of potatoes on xmas morning in a lot less time and energy it would've taken him to do it by hand. I've had the non-electric version for about 10 years and that works great too.Customer Review: Rotato Express is the best

This was a gift for my sister-in-law but the entire family absolutely loved it. We have a large crowd for the holidays and she said it was a life saver for making au gratin potatoes. She had used a similar peeler from one of her neighbors and it didn't even compare to the Rotato Express. Thanks for making my gift such a hit.
