Customer Review: Poor Replacement for the Dazey Stripper

I had a Dazey Stripper for ~25 years. It never failed me; however, this poor example of an electric peeler failed and has continued to fail since the second time I used it. The blade continues to pop off when in use no matter how much you adjust the tension when placing the blade in again. I am very disappointed and would not hesitate to return it if I had the box. Save your money and pass this one up.Customer Review: Love it! Would like to see some improvement though :)

I do love this peeler...it really does save a boat load of time. It takes me less than 10 minutes total to peel 5 pounds of potatoes. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is I wish it would peel closer to the top and the bottom of the potato, which would allow you to just trim the top and bottom, as opposed to having to manually peel them after they have gone through the rotato express.Customer Review: Blade Holder Failed

I recieved my product as a Chrostmas present for my wife. She set up the peeler to use on Christmas day. The blade holder would not hold the blade. When you put the blade on the potato and start the machine, the blade would pop off the holder. I had to use super glue to hold the blade on. I will not be able to use once the blade gets dull. Deluxe Starfrit Electric Rotato Potato Peeler Express - BRAND NEW MODEL
Do not waste your money on this pathetic potato peeler. On three successive attempts the blade flew off without making a complete revolution. On the fourth attempt the blade arm came apart sending parts in all directions. We were not able to peel one potato. This is made of plastic and is a pile of junk.

This so called potato peeler is a farce. I spent more time trying to get it to work than it would have taken me to peel with a knife. It would work for about a half turn, then plug up and quit. When it DID work, it peeled so deep that it wasted the potato. I would not advise anyone to waste the money on it like I did. Sorry, but that is my experience with the Rotato Potato peeler.
