Very pleased with the overall performance of the panini maker. Heats up quickly and cooks evenly, love the temperature control settings. Clean up is very simple and the nonstick plates are of top quality. The only draw back is it doesn't have set position levels for the lid if you wanted to do bruchetta...not a show stopper. The lid does adjust well to all types and thicknesses of bread. We use it all the time. I love this product. We bought this about 2 months ago, and I've taken it out more often than I'd thought I would. My husband doesn't cook much, but it was pretty easy for him to use. When initially shopping for it, I didn't want to spend too much on a panini grill. As vegetarians, my husband and I didn't require a very expensive unit, since we don't cook meats and such. So based on the reviews and the price (The price was less than what it is right now), I decided to give this one a try. I love the way the paninis with the grilled veggies and/or veggie burgers turn out. My sister-in-law loved it as well, and so we might buy her one for Christmas.Customer Review: Mmmm, Mmmm Good!

I bought this Panini Grill as a gift to my parents. My mom kept talking about how much she loved getting a Panini for lunch when she was working, so I figured why not try and re-produce the same quality Panini she was eating at home! This Panini Grill comes with a recipe book and all the necessary components to get started making your professional Panini sandwiches! I would recommend looking through the recipe book and figuring out the necessary food you'll need to make a successful panini, but once that's done this grill will do the rest for you! Recently I had brought home a pork loin. I had done an elaborate rub and had hoped to grill it outside on the grill. However, my sister in law forgot to bring the grill and I was left in the lurch. What to do? I plugged my panini grill in and hammered the porkloin to the size of the grill. Five minutes later I was eating the most delicious pork loin I had ever had. It helped to have a digital thermometer to take the meat off at just the right moment. Now I am cooking all kinds of meat in this bad boy. Tonight it was chicken breasts. A little olive oil, salt and pepper, minutes later unbelievably delicious.Customer Review: Still getting used to

I am still getting to know this product, so far I am pleased with it, but with all products there has to be some negatives my biggest negative with the product is no timer and the sparatic off and back on of the unit, another is that you can not fully cut the unit off without unplugging it first.
All in all I think that it was worth the price as I am not extremely in love with it yet, but who knows maybe I will get there. It makes for a great toasted sandwich just the lost of cheese is a little hard to get over but the sandwiches are definitely good, I guess I still have to use it more to figure it out.
