This is my 3rd set of jars with covers for Donivier Yogurt maker in 5 years. I have no problems with yogurt maker or jars, but covers!!! They keep cracking all the time no matter how gentle you are with them. I wish I could replace only those cheap covers but I have to purchase those expensive jars as well!!! I hope some day this company will became smarter and 1. improve the quality of the covers or 2. starts to sell those practically disposable covers separately for $2 a set!Customer Review: Nice jars for a backup set, fits Deni yogurt maker too.

I bought these as a second set for my Deni yogurt maker because my fiance was worried about me taking the original glass jars to work (and so he could have his own set). These jars are more durable than the glass ones and have better fitting lids so they don't leak. They are a little taller than the original jars so the lid of the yogurt maker doesn't fit quite right. I cover it with a kitchen towel to keep it warm and the yogurt turns out fine.Customer Review: Yogurt maker extra cups

I bought these at the same time as the yogurt maker to ensure I would have enough yogurt. I only wanted to make yogurt twice a week, and the extra cups enable me to do that (although now, my husband also wants to eat my yogurt). The only problem with the cups is the lids - they are difficult to remove when you are ready to consume the product. Screw lids might have been easier. I have now had my yogurt maker for about 2 months - in the beginning it took me awhile to produce yoghurt that was acceptable.
The recipe booklet with the machine is in my opinion 'only a guidline'.
After a bit of tweeking with the recipe I am now happy with the result, although I have now resorted to using a 'commercial yoghurt starter'.
Overall I am happy and at least I know what is in my yoghurt...

These are high-quality plastic jars. The tops fit snugly, although liquid can seep out if they lay on their sides for a while. I don't make yogurt in these. Instead, I incubate three one-quart canning jars in my Yolife and fill the little jars to carry in my lunch bag. A little effort is required, but the little jars are easier to clean when yogurt has not been made in them.
