Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisipro Donvier Yogurt Cheese MakerCustomer Review: Simple and easy Summary: 4 Stars
Just put the yogurt in the screen basket at night and the next morning you have soft cheese. The whey collects on the bottom and can be used in smoothies or a protein shake. The screen is just the right size to keep the yogurt in yet let the liquid out. Easy to wash and fits easily in the fridge. The screen is molded into the plastic and mine was separated a little at the top when I received it. It doesn't affect it's use so I didn't bother returning it.
Customer Review: Easy item Summary: 5 Stars
In the past, I've used cheesecloth to take the whey out of yogurt, this product makes it easier. Thick yogurt is used for many sauces, also for coating items such as lamb before roasting in an oven. The cheesecloth method is messy, and you also have to worry about the yogurt picking up odors and flavors from your fridge. The tupperware type container eliminates that problem. This is a great product.

Customer Review: Simple. Perfect. Summary: 5 Stars
Yogurt goes in, whey filters out, creamy yogurt cheese results. There isn't much to it. It just works well; no more messy bundles of cheesecloth suspended in my refrigerator.
The only trick I found to it is that if you yogurt is too thin, some of it will seep through the mesh at first. I use store bought yogurt and scoop some thick unstirred spoonfuls out to line the bottom before stirring some salt into the rest and pouring it on top.
Customer Review: Endless possibilities! Summary: 5 Stars
I put my plain homemade yogurt in this thing and the whey begins to drain out immediately. You will want to dump out the whey after only about ten minutes. At that point you may stop straining or continue on depending on the thickness you need -from creamy yogurt to thick spread and all levels in between. Flavoring the end results is limited only by your tastes and imagination! Handy dandy setup with its own lid to keep things tasty. Love it.
Customer Review: Works as it should Summary: 5 Stars
No it doesn't hold a ton of yogurt - so I got two of them, since I make a quart and a half at a time. But it does make excellent thick yogurt cheese suitable for making cheesecake or spreading on bread or whatever. I have not had any issues with homemade yogurt just pouring right through it as someone else complained about. I use the Eurocuisine yogurt maker and this and have absolutely no complaints. Maybe they should offer a larger sized unit.
