Customer Review: I Use It Almost Daily

Truly. Used it tonight, the fine side for lemon rind, the other side for cheese. Used it last night, for lime. I also use it for nutmeg and ginger and ... well, that's about it, but all of those things are in heavy rotation. I've had this thing for a couple of years, and when I first got it, I had some regrets that I didn't get the official microplane,getting sucked into the idea of two levels of grating instead. I thought I'd sacrificed the stability of the microplane's flat end that's helpful when trying to hold the thing at a 45-degree angle while grating something over a cutting board, for instance. No matter. I easily adjusted, and after a lot of time and a lot of use and abuse (it's in my dishwasher right now, as it is every time I use it), it still works just as well as always and has never shown any signs of wear. My 4-year-old helps me in the kitchen, and even she is starting to use the grater.
