Customer Review: Very sharp and effective but not the most practical

The Cuisipro Accutec dual grater works great in that it is sharp which makes grating easy. There is a side for cheese and other coarser grating and another side for finer grating such as citrus zests. You can also hang it on a utensil rack with a hook which I also like. What I don't like about this grater is that because the edges on both sides are rounded, you cannot rest it against a flat surface such as the bottom of a bowl or a cutting board while you grate. Thus, if you have a lot of grating to do, your hands will get tired holding the grater up. I would have given this grater 5 stars if it had a flat edge istead of a rounded one.

Cuisipro Accutec Dual GraterMade of 18/10 stainless steel, this long, 14-inch grater has a fine grating surface on one end for citrus zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, or garlic and a coarser end for grating hard cheese, chocolate, or vegetables. Its Accutec blade is photo-etched rather than stamped like most grating blades. As such, the blade is extremely sharp and holds its edge over time. This blade also glides through food without tearing or shredding, retaining the food?s fresh flavor. Plastic handles at either end of the grater are useful for holding in one hand and grating. You can also rest the grater over the top of a bowl to grate directly into the dish you?re preparing. This dual grater has eyes for hanging at each end and is dishwasher-safe.
