I bought the Cuisinart coffemaker as a gift for my parents - I thought they could take it on their road trips. I've used many coffeemakers in my time, and so have my parents. After at least three attempts we gave up. We had to mop up coffee off the counter top and floor, because it ran over every time. It was as if the water was going through faster than the basket could handle, so it just overflowed all over the place, grounds and all. Oh well, seemed like a good idea when I bought it. Not. Maybe it was just a dud. It's sitting in my garage right now back in the box. Good thing my folks have a sense of humor. We laughed our heads off...then made coffee in their old, old under-the-counter GE pot that I gave then about 20 years ago!

Although this works well for the car, my primary use of this machine is for when I want 2 large mugs of well insulated coffee that will stay hot as I drink first mug 1 and then mug 2. I keep the lids on them when not drinking and I've never had the coffee grow cold or even lukewarm. Their most frequent situs is right next to me at my computer station at home. All you need to do is plop 2 tablespoons of coffee plus water in the top, put your mugs underneath and a few minutes later you're ready to start drinking. You can make 1 mug of coffee instead of the 2, using less water and less coffee, but I am always in need of a refill so have not done so. I am tempted to put the machine right in my computer room with me in fact.Customer Review: Worth the $

Great little coffeemaker. It brews a good tasting coffee. Like the "liftout" filter holder for cleaning. Nice rubber pads on the bottom for slippage control (R.V.travelers take note!) Two mugs fit nicely in the holder. Good size.Drawbacks: coffee mugs get hot, and the little rubber bands for insulation around the mug is not quite wide enough. We also don't like the lids that come with the mugs - there is a wide rim on them - strange to drink from. Lastly - it would be great if the coffeemaker also had a way to keep the coffee heated. If you're not grabbing this mug to go out the door, it cools quickly.
Overall, we bought this coffeemaker for our R.V. and ended up bringing it in the house for daily usage.

I've had my Cuisinart Two to Go Coffeemaker for a year now and had no problems with it at all. I use it at least once every day and find it makes great cups of coffee easily, conveniently and quickly. I decided to invest in this one after finding my last coffee maker taking hours to make coffee and it was always either too strong or too weak (it was one of those Krups coffee makers with a built in grinder). No such problems with this one! Also since day 1 I've been putting the cups in the dishwasher without any real loss of performance; perhaps they're not as heat resistant as they were at the beginning, but they still keep my coffee warm for 1hr+ ; and hey, if it doesn't go in the dishwasher, then it ain't worth having!Customer Review: What a great little gadget

I love our "Two to Go" coffee maker. We received this as a wedding gift and right away I thought it was a great idea. Every morning, I would make a pot of coffee, fill up my travel mug, and then throw half the pot away. No more! As another reviewer stated, if you don't plan on drinking it right away, it will eventually get cold. But it stays as warm as any other high-quality travel mug.
My only complaint is that is uses the cone-shaped filters... My regular pot (which I wouldn't replace with this) uses the basket-style. Rather than having two kinds of filters on hand, I just rig the basket ones to fit and they do a fine job.
Highly recommended to anyone who drinks a cup on their way to work!
