I have had this blender less that six months and already the blade had to be replaced because it started leaking and now the motor is smoking. Piece of junk!!! I thought I'd spend a lot more and get a really good blender, but this was a mistake! I am not a heavy user of the blender either. Choose something else.Customer Review: Made in China

We only used the blender once before it started leaking. It seems that the cheap blade housing cracked and started leaking. What a disapointment!! We had hopped that the Cuisinart was a quality blender, how wrong we were. Lucky for us we just made the 180 day cut off for goods return policy at Macy's.

I wish I didn't buy it, just stops working yesterday. I don't know what happened, there is no reason, I took care of it according to the label. Don't buy it!!!! I can't believe I gave 100 to this piece of junk!!!!Now my return window with Amazon has passed, and Cuisinart won't replace it. Review: Great travel campanion for the roadSummary: 4 Stars I drink a lot of package drinks and I like to crush ice to give them a milk shake feel. This unit is a little bulky for traveling, however using carry-on luggage I manage to combine all my diet needs into one package and I can eat healthy on the road just like I was at home.

This blender performs very well and is extremely powerful. I use it to make smoothies on a daily basis and it blends ice well even on the mix setting. My only complaint is that it is VERY loud. Overall it is very worth the (much discounted) price I paid for it.
