This ice cream scoop is not only good looking but it works great also. The quality is excellent which is what you would expect from Cuisinart. Rock hard ice cream is no match for this "spade." It has held up well in the dishwasher which is where most of these type of scoops fail becoming tarnished and unsightly. The handle grip is shaped well and fits my hand nicely. The only complaints I have are that the end of the handle is slightly pointed so when you are really wrestling with a rock hard block of ice cream it starts to dig into the palm of your hand. My second complaint is that the black part of the handle is shiny black plastic which doesn't give you a good grip if your hands are the slightest bit wet. They should have used some type of rubber or silicone. Shipping was very fast. I would recommend this scoop.
