I received this as a wedding present and we just used it for the first time tonight. BOTH of the blades broke the first time using them. What a waste! I have had another brand that worked pretty well for years before the handle finally started to bend. But this one was worthless. I can't believe it broke the first time using it! Even if the blades hadn't broken, it was still junk. The feeder is curved and narrow, so you have to cut the potatoes before putting them in. I don't know what Cuisinart was thinking when they made this...
