Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart DLC5BC Food Processor, 7-Cup ChromeCustomer Review: Classic Cuisinart Quality Summary: 5 Stars
I still use my 20 year old cuisinart work horse, and recently bought my daughter her first one for Xmas. I thought I'd spare her the one or two cheaper processors you always buy to "save money" which end up broken, leaking, dull blades, cracked work bowl, etc. This way-she can learn on the one that actally performs-and lasts.
20 years and counting.....
Customer Review: great little food processor Summary: 5 Stars
This little 7 cup food processor is perfect for food preparation for my husband and myself. I cook a lot for family and friends. The size is perfect and it is a very strong motor and I am sure to enjoy for years to come. The only thing that I would like is if cuisinart model had a blade holder but I am yet to find one.
Customer Review: Feeling a little mislead Summary: 3 Stars
The food processor works wonderful and does everything it is supposed to do. However, it isn't 'chrome' like the description says it is. There is an actual chrome version but it is not this model - it is the larger model. This one is just plastic, painted a gray color to look like chrome. A little disappointing.
Customer Review: Best Food Processor for the price Summary: 5 Stars
Best product for the price.
The food processor was very easy to use as well as easy to clean up! We feel like we made a great purchase.
Pros: Very strong 600 watt electric motor, Easy to use, Durable.
Cons: May not be large enough for family cooking
Customer Review: Simple, straightforward and it works Summary: 5 Stars
This machine is very easy to work, and nas none of the annoying "safety features" of much more expensive machines. I highly recommend it for the busy cook who needs a solid, basic machine that does everything a food processor needs to do. No more, no less.
