This Cuisinart is amazing! The quality is tremendous, it's dishwasher safe, and it has so many uses. One of the best gifts I have ever received, I have been using it daily because it's just so much fun! You can chop up a whole onion (no pre-chopping). You can slice, chop, dice, mix... all by just switching out the blades. The quality is incredible, and the 14-cup is large enough that you don't have to make multiple batches of anything. It also comes with a number of excellent recipes in the back of the instruction manual.Customer Review: Looks great, works well, a little difficult to store

I echo all the positive comments about this item. I purchased this to make baby food and I find it takes a lot of prep time out of everyday tasks like grating cheese, chopping herbs, slicing potatoes (if you're on the carbs!) etc etc. My only complaint...the heavy base and awkward shape make this difficult to store. In addition, the blades are very sharp/dangerous, and it would be more convenient if a blade protector was included with the purchase. Buy it anyway and make room in your cupboards by getting rid of something else!Customer Review: Fantastic, and FAST!

I got this for my birthday at my request, and I could not be happier with it! It is SO fast! My only complaint is that the power cord should be longer. The 14-cup capacity is great- you can never have a food processor be too big- but it works just as good for small jobs too. I love the large and small pushers. I think it is really easy to use and start-up, despite what one reviewer said- I have never had a problem lining everything up to get it to work. It's a breeze to use and clean. We have been shopping around and comparing different food processers and found this one to be the best value. My husband and I use it all of the time. Extra large bowl for bulky foods. I have not used the dough blade yet to see how it works with bread or pie dough.
Safety feature will not let you put the pusher in place or start processing food unless all items are locked in place. Great safety feature. Easy to use and simple to clean. No hidden crevices that gather slime. Shipped quickly and arrived promptly.

This replaces a 30 year old Cuisinart that has started to show signs of age. The 14 cup size is ideal. It holds an enormous amount, that used to require to goes with our old 12 cup. The two paddle buttons inspire a lot more confidence than the electronic buttons on other models. The machine is beautifully designed, and fits under our (standard height) kitchen cabinets. So far, absolutely no complaints and lots of praise from my wife, who is the cook in the family, and knows her way around a kitchen and its equipment.
