After many coffee makers and many breakdowns in the coffee makers, I can say this one is the best. I do not have a single complaint. The coffee is ready at 6:00 AM each morning. The coffee remains hot until the turnoff two hours later. I highly recommend this Cuisinart Coffee Maker. Thanks to Amazon.com for offering items other than books.
Speaking of books, I have been a regular customer for many years and am thankful for Amazon.....

My son suggested the Cuisinart for Mother's Day, as a replacement for my older model Krups. I had looked for a similar Krupps model in white, with a glass caraffe, but did't find just the right thing. I ordered the Cuisinart and am very pleased. The design is very stylish. The caraffe has a nice solid feel. The coffee, even on the medium setting, comes out very hot. I am very pleased with this Cuisinart--highly reccommend it.Customer Review: So far so good!

I have only had this coffee maker for 1 month so I am not sure as to the value of this review, however, here it is. The unit has performed flawlessly so far. The coffee tastes great and the unit is very simple to use. We love the adjustable warming plate and the 1-4 cup option setting. The unit seems easy to clean and maintain. This product works well and makes a great cup of coffee. It's the only coffee maker I've ever had that keeps the brewed coffee hot enough to make reheating in the microwave unnecessary(there is a low and high setting). A note to "A Kitchen & Housewares enthusiast from Glen Allen VA", this must me a completely different coffee maker from the one you reviewed since it does not grind it's own coffee.Tom
