I have most other Cuisinart hard anodized cookware pieces (saucepans, saute pans, stockpot, etc.), but I didn't have a 12-inch pan. I have only used this 1 time, but I fell in love immediately. I thought I would not like having a long handle, but because it is so large, I think it is best not to have the long handle. It takes a little getting used to using the 2 shorter handles, but I think it will be fine when I get used to them. Also, wanted a cover. It worked great---very even heating and a breeze to clean.
Highly recommend this 12-inch saute pan.
