I did alot of research before I chose this particular slow cooker. It is quite effficient and the "hold" feature keeps the food at the perfect temperture when you are ready to enjoy your meal. The square shape is very handy in our small kitchen and it is quite attractive in burnished steel & black.
We were very pleased with the delivery of this well packed slow cooker. I am always very pleased with Amazon and feel comfortable knowing my order will be delivered in a timely manner.

This unit met several requirements--non-tipping base that can be transferred in the car, a self-contained cord that retracts into the base, a lift-out porcelain cooking/serving dish, a timer, a see-through lid, three temps (hi,lo,warm), and "on" light indicator. Holds a small roast, hot drink or a pot of soup. Perfect for a small family or for entertaining. My only wish is that there was a lid latch or cord to keep the glass lid in place while transporting. I bought this because for some things my 5 quart crock pot is just way too big. I love the fact that I can pick the time. On my smart pot I have to pick 4 6 8 or 10 hours. On this one I can pick any number from 1-10. I also like that it switches to warm when it is done cooking. This is a MUST for me as I am usually at work while it is cooking. It looks nice on the counter...easy to clean...and hasn't burned stuff like my other crock pot has a problem with at times.Customer Review: Cook Pot

Even though I am retired and home a lot this is a great way to cook. I had a slow cooker but even though it worked all right. You never know what will happen in 6 to 8 hours. Plus when I got there and it was done cooking. It was cold. This cooker cooks evenaly all around the ceramic pot. No hot or cold spots. Plus it doesn't burn the food like my other one does. It goes to keep warm. I like it and use it almost every day. A very good product. I recoment this product.Customer Review: Crockpot research

I researched crockpots (the smaller ones) before buying this one as it was so highly recommended. I have only to add to the good reviews. I love the metal "stand" that you can put in the bottom of the crockpot. I seasoned a whole chicken and put on top of it and it turned out wonderful. The first time I used it was for a stew and it burned a bit on the bottom. I had the time set for 8 hours and probably should have used less time.
