Author, Great Party Fondue
Some may argue that an electric fondue pot lacks the romance of the open flame...but when you're after convenience, this is the way to go. I love the large pot size--great for parties--and the nonstick interior makes cleanup a breeze. I have had very good results using this pot, as it heats quickly and evenly.

Bought as a Christmas gift for our 31 year old son. He has traveled to Europe several times and loves the Fondue served in restaurants there. He had the old type with the Sterno heat source. Using the old type the dish had to be first prepared then transferred to the pot but with this Fondue Maker he could both prepare the dish and serve it. He really likes the ease of use and has made several of the recipes that came with the product.Customer Review: Great way to fondue!

This is a wonderful little appliance. We have already used it and it was so easy to make fondue - you actually cook it in the pot, then just turn the heat down when it's done. It keeps it at the perfect temperture and you don't have to worry about sterno (if you have an old fashioned pot you know what that is!) this is the most practical and useful fondue maker that I've ever seen, you can do all types fondue, it is unlimited the variety of recipes you can cook and share with your friends and family in any ocasions. The non-stick surface works great, easy to clean, you can graduate the levels of cooking heat and if you can move it even if it's hot on you don't burn. Worked wonderfully for a buffet dinner party. Bought actually 2, one for cooking meat and also had a cheese fondue. No sticking. Only problem was the cord was too short. I understand the safety considerations, but without an extension cord they would have been useless. Needed to check on the temperature and change throughout the evening. But very convenient
