My husband and I were given a Cuisinart Food Processor as a wedding gift and we love it. The only problem was where to safely store the blades and discs since there isn't sufficient room within the body of the processor to do so. This attractive, compact holder solves the problem. The blades and discs fit neatly into their specified compartments and the lid locks into place preventing any accidental contact with the sharp instruments. We were so pleased to find such an item and especially at Amazon, where shipping is free if purchase is over 25 bucks. This product is exactly what I needed. Contrary to what another reviewer stated, this is not just for smaller food processor attachments. It holds all the attachments for my Pro Custom 11 cup food processor. The booklet that comes with it says that it will hold attachments for all Cuisinart food processors except DLC-X, DLC-XP, DLC-5, and LPP models. If you are unsure if this will work for you, I suggest going the company website. They tell you what you can use for your food processor. Then come back to this site and buy it as it's cheaper here, especially if you get free shippong.Customer Review: Handy, clean storage

This item is just as expected, a good place to store my food processor accessories. Only wish there was space for more blades without having to purchase seperate blade holder, but this does the job for the standard set when you purchase the processor..... I don't use the little 'locking' mechanism as it seems really chinzy and I'm afraid regular usage would break it before too long, and it's awkward to manuever right... but top sits down just fine without locking as this sits on the counter..... you may want to use lock for safety if you're moving it in and out of cupboard, though.Customer Review: Not Compatible with Cuisinart Food Processor DLC-KBK

This product is not compatible with the Cuisinart Food Processor DLC-5BK blades.Nowhere in the description of the Cuisinart Blade and Disc Holder does it state that fact. How very frustrating!
I was very excited to get this product because I needed a place
to store my Cuisinart DLC-5BK blades that came with my newly purchased DLC-5BK food processor(...) so this seemed the perfect solution. The slicing and grating blades do not fit into the compartments provided in the holder as they both have long stems that are not removable. Again how very frustrating!

I have been storing my blades and accessories in a plastic container that was bulky and not nice to look at. I was just visiting my mother-in-law and she had the smaller version that just stores the blades. I immediatly went on-line to discover the one she has and this one. I opted for the larger in order to store ALL the accessories. This is PERFECT! It is nice to look at and it has a fabulous lock on it so I don't have to worry about little hands getting into (not that I would leave it somewhere for them to reach). Overall a great invention from cuisinart.
