Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart AMB-95FCP Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 9-1/2-Inch Fluted Cake Pan

Customer Review: Bundt pan
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this to make a pumpking cake for my nephews birthday by baking two of them and placing them together one upside down on top of the other. The surface is nice and I love the pan, it's really heavy and heavy duty as well. I wish some instructions would have come with it as far as approximate baking time though because I didn't know how long to cook the cake for, but I managed to figure it out. It's a very nice pan which I will have for a long time to come, and a super value for the money.

Customer Review: Leaky Bundt Pan is Worthless
Summary: 1 Stars

I was so excited when this pan arrived, but that changed with the very first use. I followed the instructions for hand washing and drying the pan beforehand, but when I poured in the batter, it leaked everywhere! All over my tablecloth and floor - I was livid. Turns out there is a seam in the center connecting the two parts of this cheap pan. If it weren't such a pain to return things to amazon, I would have. As it is, I'm just going to eat the cost and go buy one that doesn't have a leaky seam.

Customer Review: cake sticks, the surface peels, and the pan rusts
Summary: 2 Stars

The first couple of times the pan was nice and the cake came out fine and pretty, but then the surface started to peel, and the cake started to stick to the pan, and it is very hard to get out, which leads to even more scratches, and I was using nylon spatula to get it out. Also, it rusts where the scratches are. I replaced it with Nordicware pan which is cast aluminum, and at least I am not in danger of it rusting. Cakes just pop out of that pan, and I am so happy.

Customer Review: great purchase, great price
Summary: 5 Stars

I had an older bundt pan that was nearly impossible to remove the cake from because of it sticking. I priced new ones at many stores, only to find them all over $25. I found this one on Amazon for $13, it made the most perfect applesauce cake on its first use. Unfortunately my dog ate it before I could show it off, just had to make another. It does not have very deep grooves and so is not quite as sculpted looking as some, but still works great.

Customer Review: This is a great Bundt pan!
Summary: 5 Stars

For too many years I have been "making do" with inferior bakeware. I had no idea that there was such a vast difference in quality and performance until I received this Bundt pan. It is awesome!! I baked a strawberry cake in it this week and was amazed at how evenly it baked and how effortlessly the cake released from the pan. I can't wait to purchase more pans in this collection. Oh, and the price was great too!
