I haven't actually used this pan yet, but I expect it will perform nicely when I do (I also ordered a 12" Cuisinart pan that is wonderful). I didn't realized how big a 14" pan is, but, let me assure you, it is HUGE. It's actually a little too large for my ceramic top stove, but I think I can make it work. If you have a normal-sized electric stove, a 12" pan is plenty large enough. I think this one would be better for a gas stove.Customer Review: Great Stainless Steel Skillet!

This fourteen inch pan is marvelous! The design is sleek and lovely, and the handle is long and elegant. There's enough room in this pan to fry an entire chicken at one time! I've eliminated all Teflon pans from my kitchen, and now use only Stainless Steel or Cast iron cookware. The Cuisinart Chef Multiclad Pro and Stainless Steel pans are the best for my needs. Even bigger than I imagined at the 14 inch size. Terrific heat conductivity, wonderful browning, complete snap to clean up. Construction and materials VERY high quality. FABULOUS buy.
(Didn't see an option to buy a matching lid, but that would be a great addition. Still, terrific pan with many, many uses, lid or no lid!)
Likely to be back for other sizes - for self and for gifts!

This is a very large and impressively deep pan. It heats very evenly due to it's thick bottom. With their washing suggestion (soaking it with boiling water until you wash it) it washes easily and still looks brand new. A similiarly sized pan with thicker sides would run you in the $300.00 dollar range so I am happy this pan was available. This pan is enormous! I needed something larger than a 10" pan - and since the 14" was cheaper than the 12" (go figure!) I went ahead with this one. It is great for cooking multiple items i.e., sausage patties and hash browns all at once. Then you can do your eggs - and you only dirty one pan. It heats up nice and even (fits perfectly on my ceramic cooktop) and is easy to clean.
