Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart 625-30D Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Medium Dome CoverCustomer Review: On Top and In the Oven Summary: 5 Stars
I use this pan for just about everything... eggs, bacon, sausage, Fajitas etc. I also use it in the oven. I hate greasy meatloaf so instead of a meatloaf pan I used this pan.. WOW! In the oven for 45 plus minutes @375-400 degrees. No warping. The lid stayed snug the mealoaf was fully cooked but not dried out and best of all only the bottom of the meatloaf had any grease on it. It was very easy to remove the meatloaf from the pan as well. Cleanup is quick and easy soap, water, swish with a dishbrush or spong, dry Done! Worth a LOT more than I paid for it.
Customer Review: great pan!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
received this item quickly and started using immediately. I especially love the idea of no no long handle sticking out over the rest of the stove top...and the two side handle bars really don't get too hot to move the pan around, unless of course you use the pan in the oven. Do use a pot holder when removing the lid though, as it does get hot. This pan is large and the no-stick coating is great and cleans easily (i do wash by hand as don't want dishwasher detergents to ruin the coating. The quailty is excellent!...will order more in the future for gifts!
Customer Review: Good for the price Summary: 4 Stars
So far I only used it once, it performs as I expected. First, the pan itself is very light, it doesn't have a thick bottom to hold the heat, so it won't be really good for browning the meat or for very fast high temperature stir frying. I think I'll just use it for frying the fish or cooking omelette kind of thing. It's very easy to clean though, especially comparing to my favored cast iron wok.
The other good thing is the glass lid, which is actually heavier than the pan. Big and very nice, now I use it on my wok.
Customer Review: Handy pan but non-stick will not last Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this pan just over 3 years ago. I loved it - it truly was an "everyday" pan and I used it for everything, fried eggs, simmering pasta sauce, stir fries, fried rice etc.. But after a couple of years, the non stick wore off. Even if I coat it in oil and pre-heat it, everything will stick. So fried eggs are a thing of the past, fried rice is also not worth it and after another year with a diminishing list of dishes I used this for, I now use this once a week or less and am in the market for a different pan.
Customer Review: Cuisinart Chef Skillet / Best Skillet Ever! Summary: 5 Stars
I've been cooking since childhood and and have used probably every type of skillet made but this is it, the BEST skillet I've ever owned. I use it for everything, literally. I use it to fry eggs, chicken or fix a roast in the oven. I just love it. The quality and workmanship is extraordinary. It is worth every penny and I'm thinking of buying a bunch for Christmas presents this year. The design is so easy to use and nothing sticks to it. Cannot say it enough, a wonderful product that I highly recommend.
