Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart 619-16 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 1-1/2-Quart Saucepan with LidCustomer Review: handle gets hot Summary: 4 Stars
I have a set of calphalon pans but burned up my 1 1/2 quart pan, they are so expensive and hard to find in stores to replace so I purchased the cuisinart instead and like the calphalon the handles do get hot and they are not as heavy but for the price the cuisinart works just as well
Customer Review: Not for Rice Summary: 4 Stars
Quality saucepan - Oven proof to 500 degrees. However, there is no vent in the lid, so cooking rice leads to a messy stove top. Clearly, I didn't read the description carefully. Will use for soups, veggies and reheating. Perfect size for my 1 person household. I'm satisfied.
Customer Review: A Great Saucepan! Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this saucepan so much that a few weeks later I bought a whole set-and got a great deal through Amazon too! They cook evenly, clean up beautifully, and it's great having the glass lids. This saucepan is the perfect size for soups and sauces. I use it every day!
Customer Review: Fabulous Addition Summary: 5 Stars
This was a great addition to the set I purchased a year ago. There are times when I didn't need the larger saucepans but was already using the smaller one. So I purchased 2 more to add to the set. It works well when I'm just cooking for 2.
