Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart 619-16 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 1-1/2-Quart Saucepan with Lid

Customer Review: Great Pot
Summary: 5 Stars

This pot is a great deal. I had it for a couple of weeks now and it has been great for cooking, nothing sticks to it and clean up is easy. I love the glass top for see what is in the pot and how it is cooking. Great pot for the money. I find this pot to be just as good as my non stick calphalon if not a little better and the price is lower then the calphalon.

Customer Review: Careful with the heat!
Summary: 5 Stars

Great product! This is my third in as many months. I ruined the first two by leaving them unattended over high heat after all the water boiled away. (You'd have thought I'd learned after the first one. I did, actually, but the minute timer failed on the second one!) Bottom line - this is a super pan. Just follow manufacturer's caution re high heat.

Customer Review: Fine budget nonstick saucepan
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this saucepan for scrambling eggs since All-Clad does not make a non-stick model in this size. It works fine, and the handles stay cool. It's not as solidly constructed or comfortable to use as our All-Clad cookware, but I gave it five stars due to the price difference. It's certainly an incredible value.

Customer Review: worth the money
Summary: 4 Stars

i really like this pan overall except for the time it takes to heat it up, since it's suggested not to use high heat.
other than that, once it's heated up, the heat stays constant and retains well. it's easy to wash and sturdy and good size for quick soup or sauce or even quick stir fry.

Customer Review: Nonstick coating melt after 5 months
Summary: 1 Stars

First thing, it's not real Hard-Anodized.
The 2nd thing is that the nonstick coating is so poor quality.

My wift used it to cook noodle some time for my baby, but last month some day, I found the nonstick coating is already melted!

Stay away from Cuisinart.
