This is my first "real" set of knives and I love them. They are very sharp and well balanced. I didn't realize how dull my old knives were until I cut some vegetables with these. My only problem with them was that there wasn't a place for the santoku and I was expecting the steak knives to be serrated. Other than that I love!!! these knives.
I've now had these knives for almost a year and thought I would update this review. When I was looking around for a new set of knives and choose these, I saw a few reviews saying that there was a problem with rust spots on these. I have had no trouble with them at all. As long as you hand wash and dry them right after use they will be fine. I have one knife with rust spots but that is from having it sit out all day during a bbq with sauce all over it. As long as you take good care of your knives they will last.
