After returning from Paris and having enjoyed the street vendor crepes, I knew I had to have a crepe maker of my own. After doing some shopping, I was surprised at how much crepe makers could cost. The CucinaPro was the only one that I thought was worth the money before I ordered. Thankfully, I was right. It makes great crepes and is easy to use. Even though is says it only has 5 temps, there is a slide control for setting the temp so you can set the temp anywhere in between the pre-printed numbers and really get the temp just where you need it. The only thing that would make this better for me would be to improve the skirt under the griddle. The skirt is made of a soft plastic that bends when you pick up the grill. It you pick it up with two hands, the plastic is fine, but if you try to pick it up with one hand, it bends quite a bit.Customer Review: You have to buy this one!

I received this little beauty this past Tuesday and have already used it twice! It got here really fast and was not damaged at all. The griddle is very large which is great for big crepes! (less to make!) I used to stand for ever and make crepes and couldn't keep up! Now, they cook so quickly that I'm actually waiting for everyone to eat theirs! I was having troubles using the wooden spreader so I looked it up on youtube and it was clear sailing from there. A little tip that I do and haven't had a bit of problems, is I put a little vegetable oil on a paper towel and in between crepes I wipe down the griddle and have yet to have one stick! The unit cleans up easily. I totally recomment this! The price is amazing! I will be ordering the wooden stick for flipping the crepes next! Both this on May2010 and did the instruction about cleaning before 1st used. Cleaned it 4 times coz it smells like plastic still. Anyway, the smell never went away. Manual said that the smell will not affect the taste of the crepes but they were wrong. It taste horrible. I left this on my counter top for 1 week hoping that airing it out will kill the smell but it never did. Tried the cleaning instructions again and the airing out for 3 more weeks and nothing worked. Put it in my kitchen shelf for 6 months to ensure it was properly aired out and as soon as the cooking plate gets hot, the smell came back. Will not recommend this to anyone!Customer Review: Wow

There is not much more than I can say. This is a fantastic crepe maker. I have used the villaware flip over and the pans and never enjoyed making crepes like I do with this maker. It takes a little practice using the spreader but when you get it, you will make perfect crepes every time. I used to love going to the pier in San Francisco and getting crepes, now in Florida I really missed that. The only thing I can mention about this is to thin your batter a little bit. This will help the spreading of the crepe. It also makes some of the best pancakes around as you can really control the temperature well.Customer Review: I love my griddle & crepe maker.

I could never make crepes in a fry pan like my mom used to, so I thought I would try making them with a crepe maker. I read the directions and spread the batter thin to the edge and couldn't believe how easy it was to flip them. Everyone came out perfect. We made pancakes that came out great. My husband loves grilled cheese sandwiches on it, or fried eggs and fried toast. This is the best little appliance I have ever purchased. Cleaning is so easy with a damp paper towel, it just wipes clean. Don't think twice about purchasing this if you want the perfect crepe maker and more.
