On Good Friday, the hospital chaplain had just visited and spoken to Mark of Christ's pain and suffering. After the Chaplain left Mark reached for his drawing pad and began to draw. You see the result here. Mark says it was as if Christ himself had guided his hand and allowed Mark to see with his own eyes the true significance of His sacrifice.
