Customer Review: Doesn't work like a Crock Pot should

Like all the other reviews my pot boiled on low and overcooked the food. The liquid was so hot it spurted out of the lid and onto the counter. Like steam excaping from the lid. Not good if you are away at work. I threw this in the garbage and will go to the 2nd hand store for a Vintage Crock Pot. The old ones worked like a Crock Pot should. Don't be fooled by how stylish this pot is. Rival should be ashamed.
