I dont like using crock pots, but sometimes...... The low temp setting on this
thing simmers food to perfection. The "warm" setting is convenient too for holding
meals at a reasonable temperature. The stainless steel outer shell conducts heat
OK, its made out of stainless. And just like you wouldn't go feeling up your
pots and pans while they are on the stove, you likewise should keep your hands
off this thing while its COOKING!
The stoneware lifts out easily and cleans up or goes right in the fridge. Maybe
there are some defective units out there but it does not get too hot, and it does
not impart kerosene-like flavors and the "paint" doesn't peel off onto your food.
Great price for a 7 quart beast like this.
