I ordered this item on line and it came well within the promised time frame. However, the rubber seal does not fit. Even when the clips are snapped shut there is space between the seal and the crock. The directions state that the unit should not be used when the clips are closed. The top is to be clipped down so the food does not leak out during transport. So, the cooker does not seal and the heat, with moisture, leaks out. My wife put a roast w/ potatoes and carrots in for over 10 hours and none of them were fully cooked. The meat was a bit rare and the potatoes and carrots were hard. My wife has worn out several crock pots in that she cooks with them often. This is the worst unit we have owned. I give it two stars in that I am sure soup will cook "OK" but roasts etc. are probably out of the question. (Two stars is being generous) I should have ordered a different type. Don't make my mistake.
